OUR GOALKEEPER GLOVE CARE GUIDE

Help your gloves live longer. Follow our helpful guide to get the most from your pair, put together by the helpful team at LUCA Goalkeeping.

  • How long do goalkeeper gloves last?
The unfortunate truth is that goalie gloves are perishable; the latex palms that give the grip and shock absorption we take for granted are a natural material and will wear and tear over time (in fact, they could even tear on day one with an unlucky graze). The average keeper can easily require 5+ pairs a season but with endless variables at play (playing surface, technique, volume of training/matches, level of glove care and prep, to name a few) some keepers may easily double or triple that number. On the flip side, some goalkeepers may make it through the season with just two or three pairs - as we say, it really does vary per keeper.
  • How do I best care for my goalkeeper gloves?
Please refer to our dedicated glove care guide.
  • How long does delivery take?
Delivery will be First Class recorded which usually takes 1-3 days (Monday – Saturday). This costs £5. We also offer next day delivery with Royal Mail for £8.50.
  • Can I return my gloves if they’re not suitable?
The product must be returned within 30 days of purchase - we cannot accept returns later than this. Products must be returned in original condition and packaging.
  • Can I get a refund for my item?
We accept refunds under the following circumstances: The product is still fully sealed and in original packaging The latex film protector hasn't been removed The product has not been used or worn The product has a genuine fault or defect upon arrival The product is lost in the postal service and proof is provided (e.g. no confirmation of signed delivery etc.)
  • How does the size come up?
The negative cut range are a snug fit. Due to internal stitching, these run slightly small, so please bear this in mind when selecting a size. Roll finger and hybrid cuts offer a more traditional fit, so we usually advise to go with the original glove size. See our dedicated size chart for guidance.
